1890's Lumberjack (Logger) standing upon the famous old growth redwood stump left after the falling of the tree with his crosscut saw and tools of his day. This Historic bronze sculpture depicts the pride of the early day lumberjacks or loggers of their era logging the Redwood Forests of the Pacific Northwest! This work was inspired by this sculptors childhood memories of playing upon these magnificent stumps in the heart of the redwood forest around his home where he grew up in Arcata, California on the far northern coast of California (Home of the Humboldt State University...)
